I'd love to be able to record a movie in Borderlands of battles seen not from the character played but from a 3rd person perspective such as in the Halo games. Wouldn't it be great to see a movie replay of a team of all four characters after an immense battle? Perhaps after an arena match? Any chance the developers would want to include this in future updates? --?

That would be an interesting feature. i agree. Theres a mod to play in third person. --?

Well that would be helpful haha considering i love third person shooter games but we are talking about the ability to actually save or record a battle that takes place between two people or a boss battle if something memorable happens (Much like a Halos Cinema feature). And maybe upload it --?

Yes, I had in mind something akin to Halo's Cinema feature. One of the downsides of playing Borderlands is that you can never see yourself. It would be great to view a battle sequence with a saved cinema file with flyover camera etc. Mordecaindy 18:00, December 29, 2009 (UTC)

There are always third-party solutions like the overused Fraps software to record your gameplay videos. Since I've never bothered with recording my games (and thus know jackshit about what other software there is), I just linked to the thirdperson tweak. I'm not sure if a flycam is possible in-game. --Nagamarky 20:09, December 28, 2009 (UTC)

Well personally.. I own a Ps3. So there is little modding (do not know if that is a word haha) i can do. I hear from friends that do have PCs Fly cams can be very annoying to install in game, They could just be stupid. Their is a Ps3 game by the name of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. One of the very unique features in that game is a "Machinima" mode. Now for those who do not know what that is it is a movie made within a video game. In said mode you can stage battles and situations that would be funny or more towards action. (What Machinima tends to do.) And upload them to a server or Machinima.com now I would understand if a mode like that would exist so you could watch and save movies your way.
