Okay, I have the PC version of Borderlands and I've used an ANARCY-Type SMG since around level thirteen. Im now level 45. DIscuss and make suggestions LOL Im not tired of firing 82 rounds a clip, just want an upgrade :P THANKS! --anon

Anarchy are pretty good but not the be all end all. For one thing they tend to have terrible accuracy. Be on the lookout for a Maliwan Hellfire, especially with a good body (an HX model). The 100% chance to ignite on a weapon that fires that fast is ludicrous. --Raisins 17:26, December 2, 2009 (UTC)

I'm personally fond of Stinger, Double Stinger in specific. I'm using a 90+% accuracy double barrel SMG with high RoF and scope; it's pretty easy to fire the entire clip straight to face which tends to kill whatever. Of course, if you care not for accuracy, Anarchy is probably the strongest option. I find efficient criticals tend to outpace the extra two shots in damage though (but I've got trouble finding 'em; I'm 42 right now and still using a 24 Double Stinger thanks to it having the whole packet, but 54*2 starts to lag behind too far, even if I can pump 37 of those in face in couple of seconds). --Elealar 17:47, December 2, 2009 (UTC)

Elealar - what platform (PC, PS3 or 360)? Bipolarattorney 21:43, December 2, 2009 (UTC)

Double Anarchy SMGs are amazing for getting in close and blasting up everyone, also great against flocks of Rakk, since the bullets spread you're guaranteed to hit at least one of the four bullets every shot. A Maliwan Hellfire is great for mid range combat, especially with a good Firefly mod, My Hellfire can take out a person's shield, stop firing, and they'll burn to death. Stingers are good if they have large clip sizes, especially a Hyperion one because of the high accuracy, if you can find a Hyperion Bitch with a high firerate and good damage consider yourself set.ZylotheWolfbane

I had this Level 20 TD22.G Crimson SMG; 50 Damage, 91.7 accuracy, 12.1 Rate of Fire, 28-shot magazine, 3.9x Weapon Zoom, +34% Reload Speed, +76% Recoil Reduction, (+50% Accuracy). Purchased in FyreStone at LVL18. It was more reliable than a Sniper Rifle for a long time, but now I'm looking for something with elemental damage to switch it out. I put a screenshot on the SMG Talk Page. Nex Iuguolo 23:46, December 2, 2009 (UTC)

i used a lvl 22 hellfire up until i hit another one at 37 and no matter how much more damage a regular smg at the lvls in between 22 and 37 they never could take ppl down the way that lvl 22 hellfire could. wylde bil
