Hi, I just got the PS3 version of Borderlands:GOTY (DLC on disc) a few days ago. I started playing it for the first time Friday night, and played it a ton Saturday. I did single player for a while (until ~level 21), then started playing coop. Eventually, I hosted my own game, and did that for several hours. While hosting, on Trash Coast, right past the deck with the vending machines on it, my coop partner pointed out a shield on the ground. He might have dropped it or an enemy might have, I don't know. This was the shield:

Purple Text: "Impenetrable Wee Wee's Super Booster"

Brand is Pangolin.

Capacity: 214748

Recharge Delay: 6

Note says..."Overcharge Capacity!"

Value is "$9999999."

The shield is equippable and it works. And the actual # for the shields in bottom corner is 2147483647. Is this a legit item? If it was a mod/cheat, how come it happened when I was hosting the game? I did kill Wee Wee with the character earlier in co-op when I wasn't hosting. Thanks for the help! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.103.221.22 (talkcontribs)

That shield is a mod. I personally have not seen that shield yet, but anything with a double name in the title such as Shredder Shredder or Twisted, along with "Anarchy" but is not an SMG, or any shield with a capacity that is way over anything you've ever seen (such as above) is modded. if you have any other questions about items dropped by others in your game you can also use the Forum:Ask the experts. Is this Modded? thread.
If you are kind of iffy about mods, just avoid picking up things people drop online. if not, then well have yourself a good time. :3 Razldazlchick 06:47, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

your friend is playing a multi-player, co-op game of silly buggers with you, mate. he "pointed out" an impossible-to-spawn modded shield that he dropped for you to find. what you have there is a creative variation of a god-mode shield, with a near-infinite capacity and an over-clocked recharge rate. keep it for the novelty factor or toss it off a cliff. just don't sell it, as selling impossible mods tends to have a rather negative effect on your money-collection cheevs.
