Flinter is a rat miniboss located in a room with a Dahl weapon chest, found after defeating Dan, Lee, Mick and Ralph in the mission Splinter Group. Like them, Flinter is more heavily mutated than the usual rats.

Strategy
In order to encounter Flinter, players must solve a switch puzzle. Above the Dahl Chest there are five lights. Two levers, the valve by the left wall, and the button on the television will each switch certain lights between red and green states. The objective is to hit the switches in the right combination to turn the lights green. Once all lights are green Flinter will crawl out of the pipe on the wall.
Notes
- On some occasions Flinter will already be standing in the room. This is presumed to be a bug as completing the switch puzzle is what is supposed to cause him to spawn.
Trivia
- Flinter is a references to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character Splinter.
