Firestorm is a legendary sniper rifle in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Maliwan. It is obtained from any suitable loot source but has an increased chance to drop from Katagawa Jr and The Graveward.

Special Weapon Effects[]

Seek shelter immediately.

+125% weapon damage.
Always incendiary. Each shot causes a small nova. Novas spawn 3 fireballs that rise up and fall back down after a short delay, causing small novas of their own. Has base splash radius of 300.
Fires in fully-automatic after charged.

Usage & Description[]

The Firestorm is a very powerful sniper rifle, capable of blanketing an area with waves of fire. It is best suited against large groups or slow moving enemies, as landing hits on smaller, more agile enemies is difficult. The Krakatoa is a similar weapon with comparable damage stats, but functions more like a traditional point-and-click rifle.

Fireballs move slowly and take some time to land, and if used in confined spaces they may hit a wall or ceiling and disappear.
