Usage & Description[]
The Hammer Buster II is intended for medium to long-range combat as its semi-automatic firing mode, strong recoil and small magazine size are unsuitable for close-range combat. In addition to its increased damage, the Hammer Buster II has a 50% additive critical hit bonus and a 15% multiplicative critical hit bonus.
Notes[]
- The Hammer Buster II's penetration ability works similarly to Zer0's B0re, although the continuing shot receives no damage bonus. A Lawbringer with The Unforgiven can exploit this to inflict massive damage on enemies with overlapping hitboxes.
Trivia[]
- The name and flavor text of the weapon is a direct reference to the Hammer Buster, a weapon from Borderlands 2, which in turn, is a reference to the Gears of War series of games and novels.
