Fast Turnaround is the title of a group of common sniper rifles in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. They are manufactured exclusively by Hyperion with old-style materials and prefixes, and features the Vladof barrel.
Usage & Description
Old-style Hyperion sniper rifles have such traits of modern analogs as a low rate of fire and branded "reverse recoil". Compared to modern Hyperion sniper rifles they have higher damage output at the cost of lower accuracy and magazine size. This and almost complete lack of recoil make them a worthy choice for short-to-medium range. The most effective are considered cryo variants.
The Fast Turnaround uses the Vladof barrel, giving a higher fire rate and magazine size. At the same time, the firm's ultra-low recoil are retained, and the low initial accuracy quickly achieves a maximum value with continued shooting.
Notes
- In addition to the Fast Turnaround, a variant of this weapon exists as the Competition, made by the "new" Hyperion.
