Empty the Rage is a tier 1 skill in Krieg's Mania skill tree. It increases his melee damage and increases it further when his shield is down or when his gun's magazine is empty.
Effects
- +4% melee damage per rank.
- Additional +10% melee damage per rank when shields are down or when your gun's magazine is empty.

Can only leveled past 5 with Meat, Sickle, Legendary Psycho, and Legendary Sickle class mods.
Notes
- This skill works well with Feed the Meat and Embrace the Pain, which increase shield recharge delay. This means there is more time where Krieg is getting the bonus melee damage from having his shield down.
