Embrace the Pain is a legendary assault rifle in Borderlands 3 manufactured by the COV. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Hot Karl located in [[Devil's Razor|Devil's Razor]] on Pandora.
Special Weapon Effects
It hurts, hahahahaha! IT HURTS! – Always incendiary. Fires two projectiles per shot which deal incendiary splash damage. After sustained fire, the user will ignite, dealing incendiary damage to the user.
During the overheating phase, the gun does not consume ammo.
Usage & Description
This gun pairs perfectly with Eridian Artifacts that increase elemental damage and shields with incendiary immunity to protect the user from the self-inflicted elemental status.

Trivia
- The weapon's name and flavor text reference Krieg the Psycho from Borderlands 2. Embrace the Pain is a skill in Krieg's Mania tree. The flavor text is a quote from Krieg when he gains Salt the Wound stacks.
