The Elder Wyvern is a unique, non-respawning Wyvern encountered during the mission Burning Hunger. Although initially "friendly", if the Fatemaker releases it without feeding it a Skeep, it will become hostile. If a Skeep is fed before release, it will thank the Fatemaker, grant them the Elder Wyvern Scale and fly away.

- The Elder Wyvern possess both an armor and health bar, it is aggressive, capable of sustained flight and rarely lands. Like all wyverns, its attacks vary depending on if it is flying or on the ground.
- Flying attacks include:
- Egg Toss - generate and hurl pairs of eggs from its tail that explode leaving a puddle of poison and a chance to spawn a Wyvern Newt.
- Fire Breath - stationary or strafing, breathes fire.
- Feather throw - send out a volley of green feather thorns
- Scratch with claws
- Ground attacks include:
- Purple Spit - spits 5 purple orbs toward Fatemaker
- Melee attacks with wings
- Fire Breath - Wyvern breathes fire
- Feather throw - back flip, sending out a volley of green feather thorns
