Maliwan Nirvana

Effervescent rarity items are rare weapons featuring unique red text effects. The color of these items fades through the colors of a rainbow. Effervescent items exclusively appear in the Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary DLC.

List of Effervescent Items[]

Unlike most other items, some effervescent items have explicit synergies with each other that work only in the location stated on item cards. Additionally, the weapon must be active for the set bonuses to take effect.

Notes[]

  • Effervescent items emit a larger and more noticeable beam compared to other items when dropped in game, allowing them to be easily spotted among other loot.

Trivia[]

  • While the Effervescent rarity was not officially introduced until the release of the Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary DLC, the animated rainbow quality used on the item card was present within the code of the Ultra HD Texture Pack DLC and could be accessed through modding tools.
    • It is possible, via modding, to have an effervescent but otherwise regular Torgue shotgun. While the item card will display the color-changing text, the weapon itself will use a regular skin.
