Djiras are creatures encountered in Borderlands 3. They are native to Nekrotafeyo.
Background
Djira are bipedal creatures with two blades in place of their forearms, with appearance resembling to that of Vandas but several times smaller in size. When Djiras spot a target, they will rush at it relentlessly, exploding in a corrosive cloud on impact.
Appearances
Strategy
Djira rely solely on their suicide bombing strategy to deal damage. It attack in large numbers and can quickly overwhelm and down a player. It is small and fast, making them difficult targets, but most can be killed in a single shot.
Djiras are easily dispatched using area of effect damage because of their low health and tendency to group up. Radiation is not as reliable because most of the Djira will die before they can become irradiated.
Notes
- In Mayhem Mode and True Vault Hunter Mode, they are renamed Explosive Dijra.
- In the Takedown at the Guardian Breach they receive a Invading prefix.
