Disruptive Product, also titled Episode 2, is the second episode of New Tales from the Borderlands.
Episode Summary[]
Anu, Octavio, Fran, and L0U13 are united at Fran's destroyed frogurt shop. Anu is contacted by Rhys, who begs her to help recover a vault key stolen from Atlas's orbiting headquarters by Tediore's invasion team. Anu notices that the echoes in intercepted Tediore voice com traffic sound like they're underground. L0U13 guards the shop while the other three proceed into the sewers via an entrance under Fran's store.
The team make it past multiple Tediore patrols and the guardians of a hidden vault, collapsing the path behind them to evade pursuit. Paco's pet ratch Juniper finds another exit and eventually leads the trio to the vault entrance the Tediore soldiers were looking for. They enter and encounter a dangerous alien monster. Anu teleports it away with her device and picks up a mysterious green crystal that fell off the creature's tongue. Finding nothing else of value, the team exits the vault and escapes through the sewers.
Some time later, a Tediore soldier inside the vault discovers Anu's Atlas name badge on the ground.
