Deckhand is the second of two sand pirate deserters formerly of Captain Scarlett's crew. He can be found at Sandman's Overlook during the mission Just Desserts For Desert Deserters.
Background
The Deckhand deserted Captain Scarlett's crew after they were attacked by Sandman and his men. Scarlett's punishment for desertion is death, so she has contracted the Vault Hunters to find the man and kill him.
