Deck 13 1/2 splashscreen.

Deck 13 1/2 ("thirteen and a half") is the starting location for the Claptastic Voyage DLC campaign. Located on Helios between decks 13 and 14, Deck 13 1/2 houses Handsome Jack's secret lab.

Points of Interest

Deck 13

Deck 13 is where the Fast Travel station is located, and where the Vault Hunters first enter the level. There are a few loot boxes and vending machines in this section, but not much else of interest. There is a ladder up to a very small Deck 14, from which the Vault Hunters can proceed to Deck 13 1/2

Violence Qualification and Calibration Chamber

This area provides Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel with a firing range, similar to the one found in Marcus Kincaid's shop in Borderlands 2. The firing range behaves the same way - enemies are tied to targets and cannot actually be killed, but are useful in that the Vault Hunters can use them to get a better idea of what damage output their weapons are capable of, by watching the damage notifications.

The firing range features three targets:

  • A DAHL Soldier without shields.
  • A DAHL Soldier with shields, for testing shock weapons.
  • A Loader, for testing corrosive weapons.

The firing range can be visited without encountering any enemies, so any character in the Pre-Sequel can make use of it, regardless of level (despite the Claptastic Voyage missions starting at level 30).

Deck 13 1/2

This is where Handsome Jack can be found, and the Vault Hunters begin their journey into Claptrap's mind in earnest.

S1M1-S1M Room

This is the first area encountered after the Vault Hunters have been digistructed into a Hyperion simulation. There, they pick up the Admin Password, and enter Claptrap's mind.
