Damned is a legendary assault rifle in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Vladof. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
Special Weapon Effects
Well, I'll be... – Increased damage. Replaces the Alternative Fire mode with a reflective shield that activates upon aiming down sights. No movement speed penalty when aiming down sights.
Usage & Description
Despite being a Vladof weapon, the Damned should be treated more like a Hyperion weapon and can be used for aggressive playstyles. However, it has a limited magazine size, making it better suited as a backup weapon.
As the Damned has no other defining characteristics compared to equivalent Vladof assault rifles, it should be considered whether the shield is a better option than an alternative underbarrel attachment.
Notes
- It has an increased chance to drop from Pain and Terror, but not from the Agonizer 9000 boss itself. Unless a backup save is loaded before this fight in the story line, it must be obtained as a world drop otherwise.
Trivia
- The name and red text refers to the phrase "well I'll be damned," which is used when witnessing something unusual or surprising--in this case, a Vladof weapon with a Hyperion shield.
