Cryophobia is a legendary rocket launcher in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel manufactured by Maliwan. Cryophobia is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from The Bosun located in Pity's Fall.

No argument here. – Always cryo, projectiles explode multiple times mid-flight at set time intervals before hitting their target.

Usage & Description

The Cryophobia is a powerful indirect-fire rocket launcher, best utilized by aiming near the target(s) at an angle parallel to the ground. Because of the projectile's unique behavior, the Cryophobia excels in combat against exceptionally large enemies or against groups of enemies, and generally fares poorly against single targets.

Notes

A Maliwan exhaust and/or scope on the Cryophobia will reduce the number of explosions created as the projectile's speed will be increased.

Trivia

Cryophobia is the irrational fear of the cold, or cold objects.
The Cryophobia is similar to a legendary rocket launchers made by Maliwan: the Rhino in Borderlands, and the Pyrophobia in Borderlands 2.
- It has a similar flight pattern to that of the Pyrophobia and Rhino.
