The Cryophobia is a legendary rocket launcher manufactured by Maliwan in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Cryophobia is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from The Bosun located in Pity's Fall.
Special Weapon Effects
No argument here. – Always Cryo, Projectiles explode multiple times mid-flight before hitting their target.
Usage & Description
The Cryophobia is a powerful indirect-fire rocket launcher, best utilized by aiming near the target(s) at an angle parallel to the ground. Because of the projectile's unique behavior, the Cryophobia excels in combat against exceptionally large enemies or against groups of enemies, and generally fares poorly against single targets.
Trivia
- Cryophobia is the irrational fear of the cold, or cold objects.
- The Cryophobia has a similar flight pattern to that of the Pyrophobia and Rhino.
