As with all Hyperion shotguns, the Crowd-Pleaser is fully automatic but has a relatively small magazine, meaning it will have to frequently reload, since like all quad-barreled shotguns, it uses four rounds per shot. Compared to the other quads, its damage is moderate, though still extremely high compared to any other sub-group of shotgun. Though more accurate than some other quad-barrel weapons, a Crowd-Pleaser is still only suited to short range. It is best to use these shotguns at point-blank range, where their limited accuracy is a minimal drawback. At any range beyond this, the ammo cost is simply too high to make efficient use of it.
This shotgun consumes 4 ammo but it also has the slowest fire rate among the other Hyperion shotguns which are all automatic. No other common shotgun can completely deplete the entire ammo in the inventory as quickly as this one.
In addition to the Crowd-Pleaser, a variant of this weapon exists in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel as the Development, made by the "new" Hyperion.
The Crowd-Pleaser only comes in blue or higher rarity.
The Crowd-Pleaser is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
