Crossroad is a legendary submachine gun in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Hyperion. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Big Donny located in The Splinterlands on Pandora.

- +20% weapon damage. +150% spread. -85% accuracy bloom (slower accuracy increasing).
- Fires in 6-round burst. Fires 3 projectiles and consumes 2 ammo per shot.
Usage & Description[]
With its projectile count and relatively high damage but lower accuracy and slower accuracy increasing, the Crossroad is capable of competing with, and often outperforming shotguns in close-quarters combat. This comes at the cost of a huge ammo burn, as the Crossroad is only capable of firing in bursts and will use a large amount of ammo per pull of the trigger.
The Crossroad is best paired with Amara utilizing skills like Tempest, Personal Space, Samsara, or Forceful Expression, as she can take advantage of the elemental damage and projectiles to destroy enemies with shields or armor, regardless of the weapon's element. It is also effective in the hands of Moze and FL4K, who can compensate for the weapon's ammo use with ammo-regenerating skills.
Notes[]
- At release, The Crossroad originally fired 4 projectiles per shot, hence the name. A projectile was removed and the accuracy and handling values lowered due to higher damage potential than other SMGs.
Trivia[]
- The flavor text is a phrase common to Voodoo prayers, where it entreats Papa Legba, a loa (spirit) associated with crossroads, to intercede on the worshiper's behalf.
