The Covenant Pass is a location on Pandora planet in Borderlands 3.

"Join the Children of the Vault! Divinity by proximity is just one sacrifice away."

The Covenant Pass is the first location visited in Borderlands 3 and it serves as the game's tutorial and introduction to its mechanics. The overall area houses a bus stop where players will first start, but more importantly it houses a Children of the Vault stronghold in what appears to be a old factory of sorts.

This stronghold is under control by the bandit Shiv, who serves as the game's first boss encounter.
