Claptrap Rescue: Krom's Canyon is an optional mission from the Claptrap Rescue series in Borderlands. It becomes available only after Hair Of The Dog and runs in the Krom's Canyon location.
Background
- "You've discovered a defunct Claptrap here. It looks like the bandits were pretty rough on him. Perhaps there is a repair kit nearby?"
Walkthrough
Objectives
- Find the repair kit and repair this Claptrap.
Strategy
In order to locate the Claptrap, take the right fork at Krom's Canyon entrance. Follow along this path until a ramp leading up is reached. There is also a large skull/grenade logo painted on the rock wall right by the ramp. Head up this ramp to a small open area where some bandits must be dealt with.
Fighting some bandits along the way, continue to the west and across the metal ramps/bridges to a plateau on the other side. Continue a little to the southwest to find the Claptrap laying on the ground.
To retrieve the repair kit, head east from the Claptrap, crossing a bridge over the canyon. This bridge and area on the other side is protected by a group of bandits. Once on the other side, a small platform with a few boxes and a can of skag meat on it can be seen. Jump onto the platform with the boxes. From here jump to one of the platforms on the tower shaped building, then jump to the second platform. The repair kit is hanging from an overhead beam.
Once the repair kit has been retrieved, return to the Claptrap. Be sure to hang around after he is repaired as he will open a shack with a red weapons chest in it.
Completion
- "Thank you most effusively for you kindness and generosity! I am not worthy to lick your boots. Not that I have a tongue. Anyway, I have this trifling trinket, which you may find useful in your travels."
