Chomper is a unique shotgun in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Torgue. It can be obtained as a reward from The Demon in the Dark or a drop from Lagromar.
Special Weapon Effects[]
Shotguna Dentata! – Fires two horizontal lines of three projectiles and one in the center. The two lines will separate after firing, with one arcing up, the other arcing down. The lines will then converge, much like a jaw opening and closing. When the projectiles converge, an explosion is created. This effect will occur twice before the projectiles despawn.
Usage & Description[]
Due to the fact that the projectiles will disappear after the second "bite", the Chomper is only effective at close range.
Trivia[]
- The special effect is similar to the Teeth of Terramorphous from Borderlands 2.
- Red text and projectile pattern may be reference to the horror trope Vagina Dentata.
