Chip is an animatronic, half-robotic cookie found in Claptrap's mind in the Claptastic Voyage DLC from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. He appears alongside three other cookies in Cluster 00773 P4ND0R4. Chip's robot parts are red, whereas the other cookies are colored yellow.

Chip and his gang of Cookies provide a mission, Chip's Data Mining Adventure, in which the Vault Hunters investigate the death of one of their own, Snicker-D. He downplays his role as a data thief, instead casting his actions as being good, honest work.
At the end of the mission, the Vault Hunters can opt to side with Chip and his gang, or not. Chip and his cookies are unarmed and do not pose a threat to the Vault Hunters.
Once the mission is complete, in either case, the cookies cannot be interacted with again.
