Carbene is the title of a group of common assault rifles in Borderlands 2. They are manufactured exclusively by bandits and feature the Dahl barrel.

By using the Dahl barrel, the Carbene gains the benefits of reduced recoil, increased accuracy, and faster recoil recovery at the expense of reduced damage.

- The Carbene is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
- The weapon's full title in the game files is "Carbinated Carbene;" however, "Carbinated" is treated as a prefix by the game engine and can be replaced with other prefixes.
