The Cara-Van is a vehicle appearing in Borderlands 2. It is found in The Dust, and its presence is always announced by the driver. The spawn point is on the west end of the main path, and from there the Cara-Van will head towards the exit to Three Horns - Valley. The Cara-Van is guarded by two Cara-Van Escorts that will attack when aggressors get too close. Once they are destroyed the Cara-Van will stop and the chest on top is free to be looted. The Cara-Van itself is invincible and will kill characters or destroy vehicles in the path of the Cara-Van.
Notes
- Looting the chest on top of the Cara-Van completes the challenge "The Van is Damned" and awards the player with 5 Badass Ranks.
- If teh chest is not looted quickly, The Cara-Van will leave the area. Trying to hit it will cause the players vehicle to blow up
