The COV Drop Ship is a vehicle in Borderlands 3 first encountered on Eden-6.
Description[]
COV Drop Ships are essentially Maliwan Drop Ships acquired and repurposed by the Children of the Vault, their hulls now decorated with graffiti and adorned with a multitude of spikes. Followers of the Calypso Twins are stored digitally within the vessel and digistructed onto the battlefield via the 6 hexagon shaped digistruct beacons positioned on the belly of the ship.
COV Drop Ships are indestrictable and are armed with just one laser turret like their Maliwan counterparts, the turret itself is vulnerable to corrosive damage. However, the COV have outfitted these vessels with loudspeakers to broadcast their messages and the Calypso Twins' live streams over the battlefield.
First encountered during the mission The Guns of Reliance, two COV Drop Ships are encountered in the town.
One COV Drop Ship is encountered during wave 5 of the 5th and final round of The Slaughter Shaft (mission), however, it doesn't digistruct any troops amd simply hovers over the battlefield, attacking the Vault Hunter with its turret.
