Borderlands 2 VR is a remake of Borderlands 2 using VR, for the PlayStation VR and SteamVR. The game released on December 14, 2018. Unlike Borderlands 2, the game is single-player only.[1].

- Multiplayer skills from Borderlands 2 have been retooled for single-player.
- BAMF Time (i.e. BadAss Mega Fun Time) is a new ability players can activate that slows down time, enabling for exact placement of shots across multiple enemies, as well as the ability to dodge bullets.
- Updated driving mechanics that allow players to drive and shoot simultaneously.
