Booster Shields are a common Shield type in Borderlands 2. They are manufactured almost exclusively by Dahl.
Usage & Description
Whenever a Booster Shield is hit while active it has a set chance to drop a special item, a Shield Booster, which will recharge up to 25% of the shield when picked up. Booster Shields may offer resistance or immunity to elemental damage.
A Shield Booster dropped by one player's shield may be picked up and used by all team members. If enemies are equipped with such shields, their Booster items are likewise available for any player to use.
