Boomer is a legendary submachine gun in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Dahl. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source in the Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC but has an increased chance to drop from Scraptrap Prime located in The Compactor.
Special Weapon Effects
Some like it hot. – Shots explode on impact. Can only spawn in Incendiary or Non-Elemental variants.
Usage & Description
The Boomer synergises with Moze's Demolition Woman Tree as the high fire rate and guaranteed splash damage will frequently activate any skill requiring splash damage.
However, the Incendiary or Non-Elemental restriction limits its use to primarily flesh based targets, although using a Non-Elemental variant can alleviate this downside to an extent.
Notes
- The Boomer can come in an "Adapting" or 2x projectile variant.
- The splash damage can harm the user.

- The flavour text is a reference to the 1959 movie Some Like It Hot.
