Bonnie and Clyde

Bonnie and Clyde is a legendary assault rifle in Borderlands 4 manufactured by Jakobs. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Directive-0 located in Ironwall Resolve - Order Bunker, in Dominion City on Kairos.

Special Weapon Effects[]

From a schoolboy to a rattlesnake.

Pair of Thieves – On Kill, grants +150% Damage for the Gun's other Mode and refills its magazine.

Has 2 modes: Assault Rifle and Shotgun — access via [Alt-Fire]
1. Assault Rifle mode: fires full-auto, consumes Assault Rifle ammo.
2. Shotgun mode: fires semi-auto, consumes Shotgun ammo.
The Damage Buff on kill:
1. Acquirable by any means when holding the gun.
2. Has no duration.
3. Lost between gun switch, but not between mode switch.
4. Will only affect the gun's current mode that has been acquired from the other mode beforehand.

No prefixes.
Fixed weapon mods & visual parts — But variants with different stats are available.

The name of the weapon is a reference to the infamous American outlaws, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow.
- The weapons design is a reminiscent of the M1928 Thompson, a weapon commonly used by and associated with the duo.
The flavor text quotes a description of how Clyde Barrow was transformed by the time he spent in prison by Ralph Fults, a fellow inmate.

The October 23, 2025 patch increased Bonnie and Clyde's base damage by 40% and increased bonus damage from the Pair of Thieves effect to 150% from 100%.
