Blood Twitch is a tier 1 skill in Krieg's Bloodlust skill tree. It is one of the two skills which cause Krieg to generate Bloodlust stacks upon damaging an enemy with bullets.

- Blood Twitch is primarily useful for generating Bloodlust stacks rapidly, since it allows Krieg to switch between a low-damage, rapid-fire weapon such as a sub-machine gun and a high-damage weapon with a low rate of fire such as a shotgun without risking the loss of stacks.
- This skill (as well as Blood-Filled Guns) pairs extremely well with skills like Burn, Baby, Burn and Fuel the Fire. Every time an Elemental effect 'ticks' on an enemy, it adds a stack to Krieg's Bloodlust. Using an incendiary weapon in particular allows Krieg to build up enormous stacks of Bloodlust in a relatively short period of time.
