Blastphemy is the title of a group of common pistols in Borderlands 3 manufactured by COV using the Alien barrel.
Usage & Description[]
Blastphemies fire slow moving darts which deal a small portion of damage upon immediate contact, then detonate after a few seconds.
Purple Blastphemies can generate with an attachment on the body of the weapon that grants +80% melee, which will stack with the innate +60% of the purple Alien barrel for a total of +140% melee damage. This gives the bladed Blastphemy the highest melee damage of any common weapon.

Trivia[]
- "Blastphemy" is a play on the word "Blasphemy", which means the act or offense of speaking sacrilegiously about God or sacred things, which fits into the religious cult undertones of the Children of the Vault.
