Strategy[]
One Ice Dart is fired every time Aurelia is hit while her shield is full. Upon impact, the Ice Dart deals Cryo damage in a small area. Enemies can also be frozen solid by the Darts, and will take continuous Cryo damage over a short period of time whether they are frozen or not.
Each Ice Dart only seeks the enemy who has just inflicted damage on Aurelia. If that enemy dies before the Ice Dart finds them, the Dart will disappear after flitting about for a few seconds.
The potential of Bitter Riposte can be greatly improved by equipping Aurelia with a shield which has short recharge delay and recharge rate approximately the same as capacity.
The Ice Darts are not blocked by obstacles that are close to Aurelia, but they can be blocked by other enemies who get in their flight path.
Notes[]
- If Aurelia's shield is unequipped when it is full, the next attack that hits her will still trigger an Ice Dart. This also happens if she has no shield when a new game session is started.
