The Hyperion Bitch is an accurate Submachine Gun, but the red-text effect is still unknown. According to some testing it doesn't have increased critical hit damage as widely believed.

Trivia
- The text in red, 'Smack'em', possibly refers to the song 'Smack My Bitch Up' by the band Prodigy. Or more likely that the aforementioned song is referencing the same thing the gun is. It can also refer to the term "bitch slap"
- It is also possible that this is an indirect reference to the commonly used description of something "hurting like a bitch", which is entirely possible if you note the increases to damage given by this special part, along with its effect. This is particularly noticeable due to Hyperion's usual concentration on accuracy, which would lead to assumptions that an orange Hyperion weapon would follow a similar trend.
- L1A1 (FN FAL) rifles were modified and nicknamed "The Bitch" by the Australian Special Air Services Regiment during the Vietnam War. Modifications included: installing the shortest gun-butt, sawing off the end of the barrel, and filing down the selector. The result converted the large and heavy semi-auto rifle into a full-auto carbine.
