Big Boom Blaster is a seraph booster shield in Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage. It is manufactured exclusively by Torgue. The Big Boom Blaster can only be obtained from trading with the Seraph Vendor in the Badass Crater of Badassitude in True Vault Hunter and Normal modes, or as a rare drop from Pyro Pete the Invincible in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode.

Usage and Description[]
The Big Boom Blaster is a high-end booster shield which boasts both a very high booster drop chance as well as the unique ability for those boosters to replenish grenades and rocket ammunition. The second quality of the shield is a significant draw, as grenades and rockets are uncommon and rare to find, respectively, and the Big Boom Blaster can easily provide a reliable way to replenish them mid combat. However, the shield's inherently high booster drop chance is worth noting, as the Big Boom Blaster is capable of attaining the highest booster drop chance in the game, 22.1%. In contrast, the legendary Whisky Tango Foxtrot, can only reach 19.3%, and non-unique Booster shields max out at 16.5%.
The Big Boom Blaster is a good choice both for players who use rockets and grenades frequently, as well as for players who simply prefer booster shields. Its ammunition-replenishing abilities can also come in handy for multiplayer situations, and the high booster drop chance ensures that in such situations there will be plenty of boosters to go around.

- This shield is especially useful for fighting Pete the Invincible. His Damage Over Time can actually be exploited to benefit the entire party. His lengthy status effect duration will generate boosters constantly, enough to negate all damage to the user and mitigating damage to other party members.
- The Big Boom Blaster can spawn with a Maliwan capacitor granting the wearer resistance to shock, corrosive or incendiary damage, or a Torgue capacitor that reduces explosive damage. However, none of the prefixes will be displayed.

- Despite being made by Torgue, the Big Boom Blaster uses the skin of a purple-rarity Dahl shield.
