Bellik species infoboxpic

Belliks are enemies encountered in the Bounty of Blood, a downloadable content (DLC) add-on for Borderlands 3. They are quadrupedal, equine-like, animals only found in Obsidian Forest on Gehenna. Belliks are exclusively elemental, and take on either shock or radiation elements.

General Strategy[]

Belliks, even the largest types, are very agile animals. They can quickly change direction, and leap long distances. Regardless of the type or size, all Belliks have simillar attacks:

  • Headbutt - they charge and hit their targets with their head causing considerable damage and knockback.
  • Kicking - at melee range, they deliver several blows in quick succession with their front legs.
  • Elemental orbs - from their split-open heads they launch orbs charged with their respective element. These orbs are launched at medium range and are easy to evade.

Belliks are highly resistant but not immune to damage of the element they are charged with. They are considered as flesh targets which makes them very vulnerable to incendiary damage. At the same time, they are very vulnerable to damage of the element opposite to one they are charged with, ie. radiation-charged Belliks are very vulnerable to shock damage and vice versa.

Belliks can be enhanced with armor when a member of their pack does a call, that they will all repeat.

Notes[]

  • The behaviour of Belliks are similar to a horse, bucking up and attacking with their front hooves.
    • The trotting they make is very similar to a horse gallop.
  • Belliks seem to get their element infusions due to the consumtion of Lightning Devils and Radiation Devils
