Badass Ratch are a heavier type of Ratch found throughout Borderlands 3. They appear on Athenas, Promethea, The Handsome Jackpot, and Eden-6.

Strategy
Badass Ratch have no armor so an incendiary weapon is suggested to finish them quickly. However, they are able to heal themselves and add another bar of health should they be able to cannibalize another fallen Ratch. Badass Ratch have a larger health pool than their peers so it will take more shots to bring one down.
They attack by charging at their prey like an angry rhino, closing the distance and spit large balls of bile that cause radiation damage. When close to a target, they can vomit bile in a wide radius, dealing radiation damage.
Notes
- In Mayhem Mode and True Vault Hunter Mode, they are renamed to Badass Ferocious Ratch.
