Badass Fanatics are enemies encountered in Borderlands 3. They always wield Rocket Launchers and provide heavy fire support to COV units.

Badass Fanatics tend to keep their distance but will slowly move towards their targets while relentlessly bombarding them with heavy fire. They have high health but never wear shields (on Normal mode) which makes them vulnerable to Incendiary damage. Because of the extreme damage they can inflict and very quickly, Badass Fanatics should be high-priority targets. Vault Hunters should constantly be on the move while igniting Badass Fanatics.
Notes
- Badass Fanatics can have different outfits and headgear, and can spawn as both male and female.
- In Mayhem Mode and True Vault Hunter Mode, they are renamed Badass Zealot. They may occasionally spawn as "Hardened Badass Zealots", which give them an additional shield or armor bar, and occasionally both.
- In Arms Race, they are renamed to Rival Badass Fanatic.
