Badaboom is a legendary rocket launcher manufactured by bandits/scavs.

In Borderlands 2, it is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source but has an increased chance to drop from King Mong located in Eridium Blight.
In Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, the Badaboom is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.

Special Weapon Effects

Multi-kill. – Fires six rockets per shot. Reduced accuracy and per-rocket damage.

Usage & Description

In terms of damage-per-shot, the Badaboom's potential eclipses that of most other launchers, including the formidable Nukem. Its rockets spread in a manner similar to a shotgun's projectiles, making it very useful for inflicting high amounts of accumulative damage to large targets, or spreading heavy splash damage to large groups of smaller targets, and can be handy for attaining Second Winds.

  • A SHiFT code that unlocks a single Rappid Badaboom is included in the Diamond Plate Loot Chest. The card caption reads "If your enemies aren't dead after a blast from this, you probably weren't aiming in the right direction. Or they were robots."
  • The name and flavor text on the launcher are both references to the sci-fi movie The Fifth Element.
  • In Borderlands 2, The Badaboom use the same material as the Madhous!.
