Athena's Wisdom is a swatter-type repeater pistol with greater accuracy and a hidden critical damage bonus. It also always comes with some type of modifier accessory.
Athena's Wisdom is best used by players that favor precision over brute force.
Mechanics
Athena's Wisdom derives its special effects from the barrel5_AthenasWisdom barrel. Compared to the standard barrel5, this part further improves accuracy and handling of the gun when firing. The unique Athena's Wisdom material AthenasWisdom_Material is equivalent to Hyperion Material_Hyperion_1. Please see stat modifiers for an explanation on how to interpret all of these modifiers.

- Athena's Wisdom cannot spawn with the Invader sight.
Trivia
- The name, although directly referring to the Crimson Lance defector, Athena, from whom the weapon is obtained upon the defeat of Knoxx, is a double entendre that is also referencing the Greek goddess Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war strategies.
- The Athena's Wisdom uses a unique Hyperion material, a pink color with a star pattern.
