area efect is the title of a group of common rocket launchers in Borderlands 2. They are manufactured exclusively by Bandit and feature the Maliwan muzzle. *The area efect is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
Usage & Description[]
The area efect fires three projectiles for only one ammo. Its Maliwan Barrel increases its projectile velocity and accuracy.
The thing that detracts from its effectiveness is that its projectiles go straight through most targets (man-sized up to loader-sized). Only very large targets may be hit directly.
As a result, when using this weapon, the only real way to deal any damage to normal targets is to hit the ground under the target or a wall next to the target.
