Airborne Marauder is enemy encountered in Borderlands 2. They are variant of the regular Marauder, and are distinguished by red sheet they wear on their heads and their red jackets. They are only encountered in areas with Buzzards.

Strategy
While airborne, Airborne Marauders provide fire support to their troops on the ground. Sometimes, although very rarely, they will dismount and continue fighting on foot. They are armed with assault rifles and never have shields making them very vulnerable to incendiary weapons. If on the ground, Airborne Marauders try to keep their distance, often seek cover, occasionally toss grenades, and melee only if cornered.
Notes
- In True Vault Hunter and in Ultimate Vault Hunter modes, they are renamed Airborne Outlaw.
