AX-19 is the title of a group of common pistols in Borderlands 3 that are manufactured by Atlas.
Usage & Description
The AX-19 has neither the rate of fire of the AX-7, nor the splash damage output of the AX-88, instead being fully automatic with an average rate of fire. This makes it function the closest to an actual pistol, though it has the lowest base damage of all Atlas pistols. Its barrel accessories aim to further increase its high fire rate.
Any character skills, class mods, or relics that increase weapon fire rate, especially Atlas weapon fire rate, can make very effective use of an AX-19, doubly so when using its alternate fire mode to track targets.
The AX-19 can spawn with three unique barrel accessories:
- Magazine fins that increases fire rate by 10%.
- Side guards that increases fire rate by 10%.
- Rear exhausts that increase accuracy by 15%.
