With the upcoming patch we'll see higher stats on drops from higher Mayhem modes. However gun damage stats etc do pretty much nothing for a melee build on Amara. Has anyone heard if we can expect higher melee bonuses on Mayhem items?
"Now with 47% more than 26% death annually. That is down from last year - hold your applause!"
Always play anything in order of release, because that's what the devs were expecting when they made it.
Yeah, on the reveal event for Guns, Love and Tentacles they confirmed that DLC4 will heavily feature Krieg.
Normal Mode has always had regional level scaling in every Borderlands game. Allows for level grinding if you get stuck somewhere while leaving little incentive to hang around in underleveled areas, instead of moving on with the story. Once you're done with that, you get to farm everywhere with levels scaling to you in TVM/UVM/Mayhem etc.
Gonna be his first Psycho episode in ages.
(I'm seriously hoping to have him as the first boss, having to down him before he calms down)
No, but the writers should.
FL4K's first Action Skill Augment in the Stalker tree (gren), "Guerrillas in the Mist", allows you to take as many shots as you want during "Fade Away", but it greatly reduces the duration and damage bonus.
Their "St4ckbot" class mod (Handsome Jackpot DLC exclusive) give a stack of damage boost for each critical hit. This makes it combo very well with "Fade Away" as long as you're careful to not get a non-crit outside of it and reset all stacks. I believe when we tested it it went up to around 5x damage on max stacks?
It's the best event yet imo. Apart from giving the extra challenge of additional Cartel Thug spawns everywhere, The actual event is fun too. The map is pretty big (compared to the halloween one) and has a nice design and great music. It also randomizes certain factors about it each run (quest location, spawning enemy faction, location of minibosses), giving it decent replayability. Getting the challenges done didn't feel like grinding.
This movie does not exist unless I hear exclusively good things about it after release. Not too confident about that though. The script summary they gave some time ago read like someone skimmed over the Wikipedia article and then dropped some names into your average hollywood sci-fi action script.
I mean... They have to eat somehow. The previous games simply never showed or indicated their mouths.
Because they do.
afaik Face-Puncher's damage gets completely replaced by the current melee damage, divided between the projectiles. So at most it would benefit from better fire rate, accuracy etc.
The DLC roadmap confirmed the Guardian Takedown for after the Mayham 2.0 release and Cartel event.
I was hopelessly over-leveled during my casual playthrough of BL1. To the level where the Bosses started becoming mundane half way through. No grinding or farming at all. No other game of the series managed to do it that badly. BL2 still had a bit of that, but got much closer.
VIP would've been great for these things. Add the promo items to the rewards for very expensive and turn stuff like the Twitch Prime reward into enough VIP Points to buy them. Could've even added items from events like Valentines to the list, so people have a chance to get them during the rest of the year...
Isn't that the point of mayhem? To get harder and harder, forcing you to find good builds and synergies?
Personally I wouldn't mind if they introduced even harder mayhem levels.
Yaaay, two comments about a minor typo.
You best respect my Vercuvian Mayham.
As stated on its page that's originally a quote from the bible.
