I was browsing over the wiki and saw that Amara was noted as the current leader of the Crimson Raiders. Does anyone know where this was stated, shown or confirmed? I can't for the life of me find it out, nor do I remember it being stated anywhere.

I couldn’t stand her lines in this game. She’s too extra... lol
About Ava having determination as one of hers leaderships kills - she sounds, acts and looks like a petulant child.
She acts like maya
Not quite. Also Maya is grown-ass woman with powers unlike Ava who acts the way she acts from the start.
Ok then ava acts how a young maya would
Except she's not.
Young Maya respected authority for better or for worse as we can hear in Wildlife Preserve.
@Stefan Kovrlija Yea sure. She just murdered the tyrant head of Athenas when she realized she had been used. She didn't think of the chaos that came with that and fled the planet, seeking Pandora. It wasn't until years later when she returned to protect the planet. She did what was right, stopped a tyrant. But she didn't respect the chain of authority at the planet.
When Lilith is left without a word to share, or a plan to charge ahead after Tannis was kidnapped it was Ava who metaphorically slapped her in the face. Reminding her that Tannis wasn't dead yet. Ava is extremely blunt as children tend to be, and that is often a good trait for a leader. She voices her opinions even if they aren't popular ones.
It isn't that she doesn't have respect for Lilith, she has massive respect for Lilith which is exactly why Ava treats Lilith the way she does. All Ava knew about Lilith was the legends of "the Firehawk" as told by Maya. When Ava meets Lilith, the leader of the Crimson Raiders is so scared to act that people are dying right and left. It is the complete opposite of the awesome leader she is suppose to be and Lilith acknowledges this throughout the story.
Ava is blunt because she is a isolated kid who hasn't had much interaction with a good "family". Though she is very rarely wrong and isn't afraid to act. She might not fully understand the gravity of her choice at every given time, but neither does Lilith to the very end. Yet Ava never stops to ponder what she can never know, she acts.
Ava's whole determination comes from being a child not from any tactical prowess. My question about Pickle showing up still stands.
A leader isn't specifically the one that plans their action, but the one that takes such action and rally their followers to such action. At the start of Borderlands 3 and end of BL2, Lilith makes such an action when she makes it the Raider's mission to "Seek out Vaults".
She doesn't plan on how they will do this or in what order. Only that they will. It fell to Tannis, Ellie and others to plan out their individual parts of "how". When Tannis is kidnapped, Lilith is at a loss as she no longer knows what to do or how to do it. Ava snaps her out of it and Lilith decides what to do, but not how to do it, and thus sends the player to find Vaughn.
The plan here is to save Tannis, but Vaughn is the one who plans the "tactical" how part of the plan, not Lilith. This is because not all leaders are required to be planners, they are required to act and make others act, something Ava is capable of doing even as a child.
So true
What do you think?
